  • In order to respect the design and architecture of our designs we offer minor and moderate changes to our building plans. Send us an inquiry prior to purchasing your plan for more details and pricing.

  • Minor Changes

    • Room layout changes (excluding kitchen & bath)

    • Changing, adding, or removing fewer than 50% of the doors and windows

    • Foundation change to either pier and beam, crawl space, simple full basement

    Moderate Changes

    • Redesigning kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.

    • House expansion with additional rooms lengthwise along the ridge beam.

    • Significant door & window changes (ie. glass walls, new entry points, moving or resizing 50% or more of the windows)

    • Adding decks or patios

    • Adding a full finished basement with rooms

  • Yes we do! If you are interested in a 100% unique and custom home we can develop the plans and design. Send us an inquiry and we’ll be happy to help.

  • We offer the Design Box as a unique and simple solution for the interior and exterior design of our homes.

 

pricing / licensing

  • Since our plans are available throughout North America, the building cost varies greatly from one region to another. We based our price per square foot to the national average giving you a ballpark between medium and high prices. To get a more accurate quote for your build, reach out to a local contractor prior to purchasing your plan especially since they are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Oregon presents prices for informational purposes only and does not accept liabilities regarding the approximate construction costs indicated. Please also note that these estimates do not include the cost of land or connections to utilities.

  • To keep in line with our thoughtful living approach and authenticity values, Oregon building plans provide a non-transferable license to the purchaser to build one, single home depicted in the plans in a residential context. We offer each model in limited quantities to avoid the mass production and multitudes found in new developments. This means that one plan purchase allows you to build one home of this type. If you’d like to build two of this same model, you will need to purchase two licenses. This license supports residential implementations for use with short term rentals, however, this license does not extend to commercial entities like hotels or real estate developers.

  • Yes, our architectural plans, images, and concepts are protected by the Copyright Act. Their reproduction, in whole or in part, constitutes a violation of this law and is subject to fines.

    Consequently, to obtain the right to build a residence based on or largely inspired by an architectural concept from this website, it is mandatory to purchase a set of plans that provides access to a construction licence.

    People or companies found guilty of plagiarism will be prosecuted in order to enforce the Copyright Act.Item description

 

pLANS

  • We send out a PDF version once all details are confirmed plus a physical printed 24”x36” plan by mail.

  • Our complete building plans include everything needed to bring your project to completion, from foundation to roof details. Refer to a model’s page to see the detailed list of drawings.

  • All our plans are drawn up in Quebec, Canada and comply with the NBC (National Building Code of Canada). They are sealed by an accredited architectural technologist. Depending on your region you might need a local engineer or architect to review and stamp the plans.

  • We designed all our houses on a slab foundation with heated floors for maximum efficiency. If you wish to change the type of foundation, let us know in the customization field while placing your order.

  • Absolutely! We can make CAD files available if needed, send us a message!

  • All our plans are designed in Canada and follow the NBC but are stamped by a technologist in Quebec. This means that if you are looking to build outside of the province of Quebec, you will need a professional to review and stamp your plans. Contact us for more info!

  • We do! All our plans offer a 1125$ preliminary plan package that includes floor plans and elevations. This will be a valuable asset in getting precise estimates from contractors, permits from the city and so on. The price of this package will be deducted from the total of the construction plans if purchased later. Reach out to know more.

 

design box

  • The Design Box is only offered as an add-on option for our house models. Each box is tailor designed for a specific Oregon Home.

  • In addition to the technical building plans, the Design Box option includes:

    1. an elegant box containing all the physical samples of finishes and materials;

    2. a detailed list of specifications for the materials, furniture and lighting.

  • We preselected all the materials and furnishings to stay true to the design and architecture of the house. Of course, you are free to use different items than those selected for that house model.
